The Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board (DCWIB) is now accepting applications for the 2023 Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP)
SYEP is a first come first serve program for youth who meet eligibility requirements. SYEP participants can earn $14.20 per hour for up to 25 hours per week.
Youth programs that participated in the 2022 SYEP include The Art Effect (Spark Studio & MadLab), The Boys and Girls Club, Cornell Cooperative Ext (Green Teen), North East Community Center, Nubian Directions, Poughkeepsie Farm Project and Red Hook Community Center.
SYEP ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
✓ Resident of Dutchess County
✓ Family income being at or below 200% of poverty level
✓ On July 1, 2022, you are between the ages of 14 and 20 years old.
✓ Eligible to work in the U.S. and have proper identification
There is no application fee to apply to the Summer Youth Employment Program

Completed SYEP 2023 applications must be received by June 23rd.
